Hi, my name is Spirit. I’m a 7 years young, gelding, fjord cross, 13.8hh pony. I came all the way from Alberta to meet you today! My name refers to the movie Spirit which I’m sure you’ve had fun watching. When I was younger, I lived at a breeder in Alberta. Last year he, unfortunately, passed away which left me with nobody to take care of me. I was lucky a rescue in Alberta saved me a trip to the slaughterhouse. At the rescue, there were lots of other horses. That many horses that the people had to find me another home. When people came to look at me, I felt very scared because I had never seen so many people in my life. Nobody ever took me home because my wild spirit scared them. One day, the rescue got in contact with Floriane to see if she could take me. Shortly after, I got put on a big truck. After a 14hour drive of being super brave, I arrived at another new home. I was very nervous and scared but loved the idea that food, water, and safety were always present. After spending lots and lots of hours with Floriane, I became very comfortable with people to the point where I now love people more than any horse. This year (2022)I have been working with kids and I love to take care of them and play with them! I think people are the best thing on earth and would love to hang out with them all the time. I’m very caring, honest, and gentle. I'm told I'm a big goofball as I love to give people a good laugh. Come get a hug from me. :) My favourite thing is water and people.
